Vigilance squads will be formed to check complaints against corruption in registrar offices. A single window facility will be set up for all other procedures other than registration. The registrar offices across the state will be renovated, Food, Civil Supplies and Registration Minister Anoop Jacob has said.
He was speaking after inaugurating the new building of the sub-registrar office in Thrikkakara on Monday.
He said special squads would be formed to prevent illegal sale of gas cylinders at exorbitant prices. The respective district supply officers have been directed to constitute the squads. He also said that the ration shops will be renovated and their standards raised to that of other shops.
