Velmurugan to launch new party

CUDDALORE: Former MLA Panruti T Velmurugan is all set to launch a new political party on January 15, 2012 (Thai 1). The name and party flag will be revealed in Chennai on the same day.Speaking to Express, Velmurugan said, “After launching the new party in Chennai, we will convene first conference in Cuddalore.” He added that the new party would strive to ensure that Tamilians get their rights in all aspects, cutting across castes and religions.“The new party will struggle from Mullaiperiyar dam to the Lankan issue.’’
