PUDUCHERRY: An official delegation, led by Tourism Minister P Rajavelu, left for London to participate in the World Travel Market 2011 scheduled to be held there from November 7 to 10.An official release, on Saturday, said Puducherry tourism was looking to use the event as a prime platform to attract European tourists to Puducherry as part of promotion of tourism under the guidance of Chief Minister N Rangasamy.The delegation will also visit Paris to interact with tour operators and travel agents at a meeting on November 11 to bring more French tourists to Puducherry. The minister will attend a function for the unveiling of a Gandhi statue at Vaureal, France, on Nov 11 and participate in the X anniversary of Paris Kamban Kazhagam on Nov 12.
