BANGALORE: The British Academy of English Language recently held a three-week course on spoken English and grammar for all the teachers of Doddabele government school which was adopted by Ness Technologies in April 2010. This association was brought about by employees of Ness Technologies,  as   part of ‘Teachers Training Programme’.The initiative was started based on feedback taken from teachers, on the help that Ness can extend to them. The training was suggested by the teachers since the students are being taught English language largely in regional languages. The course content was designed based on an initial assessment that was conducted by British Academy of English Language, to gauge their proficiency in English. These classes will help the teachers get a better hold on the language to be able to ensure a better learning experience for the children. The school was adopted by Ness Technologies in April 2010. The organisation has been actively initiating various activities for the children and providing aid. The programme is an attempt from the organisation to support the teachers along with the children. These initiatives are organised by the Ness CSR Team as an attempt towards driving literacy, thereby making a difference to the community. Through the initiatives employees at Ness Technologies have been striving to reduce the number of drop outs from the school. They have been working towards creating a better learning environment and contributing to the education of these children.
