Two youths rape a minor at gunpoint

Sitapur: A minor girl was allegedly raped at gun point by two youths in Wazirnagar village of the district, police said on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old was intercepted by the youths, one of whom was identified as Ranu, when she was going to attend a nature's call on Monday, they said. On a complaint by victim's parents, a case of rape was lodged against the absconding accused and efforts are on to nab them, they said.

The girl was sent to the hospital for medical examination, the report of which is awaited.
