Twitter has announced the launch of its official Twitter app for the Android platform.
To bridge the gap of good Twitter apps for Andriod phones, Twitter has announced the launch of its official Twitter application for the Android platform.
The Twitter for Android app is available for phones running Android 2.1 and above. This means that only about 27 per cent of Android users can use the official Twitter client. The app is available in Android Market.
"When apps work well with each other, sharing becomes as second nature on machines as it does in person. The Android platform is really good at that," said a post on the official Twitter blog.
