TTDF backs strike after its success

 HYDERABAD: The Telangana Telugu Desam Forum is compelled to extend its support to Sakalajanula Samme as its success was unexpected by the forum.  The TTDF is of the view that it was isolated by the TJAC and TRS though it is committed to the cause of separate Telangana. The forum did not extend its support to the government employees strike till Tuesday. When asked, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu said the TTDF would respond on it soon.  After the success of the strike, the TTDF hurriedly met at the TDLP office. Later, the TTDF members invited the electronic media to cover their protest in support of the Samme. Eight TDP MLAs were arrested when they tried to lock the gates of secretariat.  “The TRS and TJAC isolated us. They never sought our support to the strike. However, we wanted to extend our support to the strike,” TTDF convenor E Dayakar Rao said.
