Trucks with riverbed soil seized

HYDERABAD: A vigilance team of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board conducted raids and seized four tippers carrying soil illegally after digging at the Himayathsagar reservoir and selling to people in Kavvaguda village in Shamshabad mandal. The team led by the circle inspector, B Srihari and D Sridhar Babu, general manager, O&M division XVII and other staff also booked cases against them and handed them over to Shamshabad police station for taking further action.
