Three people were killed and 30 others injured when a tractor trolley in which they were travelling was hit by a vehicle from behind near Dahi Chowki in Unnao on Tuesday.
Police said the accident took place near Dahi Chowki under Sadar Kotwali police station area killing Santosh (35), Ram Govind (33) and Babulal (65). The people were returning after paying obeisance at the Lodheshwar temple.
Some of the seriously injured were referred to Kanpur hospital, police said, adding that some others with minor injuries were discharged after first aid.
