Three arrested for painters murder

PUDUCHERRY: A man and his two sons were arrested on Tuesday for murdering a painter at Veeman Nagar here.According to Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and Order) V J Chandran, Kuppusamy and sons Vinoth and Suriya were nabbed by teams formed under the supervision of Superintendent of Police A Nandagopal and led by K L Viravallabane and his assistants S Balamurugan and R Inian.As per the case, painter Parthiban was assaulted by the accused using knives and iron pipes after they got into a verbal duel while playing carrom. Parthiban was taken to the JIPMER hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
