BANGALORE: Stating that things are going on as before at Prashanti Nilayam even after the death of Sathya Sai Baba, representatives of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and Sathya Sai Seva Organisation announced a series of events beginning on April 16 in order to mark the anniversary of the Maha Samadhi of Sai Baba recently.“We will be organising a summer course on Indian Culture and Spirituality for youth from the state from April 16 to 20 at Brindavan Ashram, Whitefield, Bangalore,” said Professor A Anantharaman, addressing a press conference. The course according to Anantharaman would follow the tradition of the same course which was initiated by Sathya Sai Baba himself in 1972 and would be held in the same premises as well.The course will look towards imparting to the young minds a world view and a comprehensive outlook on India and its rich heritage. Close to 900 students and youth between the age group of 16-35 years will be participating in the course according to the brochure.Other initiatives being planned are a Narayana Seva in which food would be served to 25,000 people in the city. Prashantinilayam will conduct an Aradhana programme between April 23 to 25 with the theme ‘Experiencing the Divine — From the Form to the Formless.’
