It is not just the intelligence inputs but also the SMSes circulated by students among themselves at the Telangana march venue that made the police confirm the presence of extremist elements in the Sunday’s march.
“Many students hurriedly left the venue mid-way. They circulated SMSes among themselves on the presence of extremists and possible break out of trouble,” a senior official said adding the messages were intercepted by the intelligence agencies.
