For the first time SRM University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, here on Friday, with regard to publishing five international journals in the streams of engineering.
The SRM University entered into such an agreement in lieu of bringing research oriented publications, which will have the papers contributed by the staffs of the university, researchers in the field and students of the concerned departments.
Speaking to City Express Prof D Narayana Rao, director (Research), said, “We are planning to bring five international journals pertaining to engineering streams jointly with ISTE as ISTE-SRM International Journal in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and in Basic Sciences. We are planned to publish four issues in a year.
