CHENNAI: Shree Motilal Kanhaiyalal Fomra Institute of Technology (SMKFIT), Chennai, recently held its 7th Graduation Day celebration on its premises. T T Narendran, management studies, IIT Madras, conferred the degrees on 389 students. Other than Dr R Raja, principal of the college, chairman Sunderlal Fomra and correspondent and trustee Srikumar Fomra were present at the ceremony. T S Rangarajan, global head, Tata Consultancy Services participated in the event. Addressing the students, T T Narenderan stressed the need for becoming entrepreneurs eventually, while constantly working on ideas that could be implemented. “Even though there are risks in the current scenario, graduates have the luxury of taking more risks,” he said. The management honoured rank holders with medals and cash prizes. It was indeed a big day for the students.
