Directed by Salman Khan's brother Sohail, 'Jai Ho' has been released in over 5,000 screens.

New Delhi: Salman Khan starrer 'Jai Ho', which is being expected to smash all box office records, hasn't had a smashing start. The film managed to earn only Rs 33.80 cr in the first two days of its release.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the film's BO collection on the first two days.

#JaiHo Fri ₹ 17.55 cr, Sat ₹ 16.25 cr. Total: ₹ 33.80 cr nett... Info collected from my sources and confirmed with Eros. India biz only," he tweeted.

"#JaiHo Fri ₹ 17.55 cr nett. India biz only," he had also posted earlier.

But as Taran said on the microblogging site, since the reports on the film continue to be positive, its collection is expected to witness an increase.

"#JaiHo reports are very positive, expecting the biz to witness escalation on Sat. Tomorrow, 26 Jan holiday + Sunday should hit big numbers," he added.

'Jai Ho', directed by Salman's brother Sohail, is a remake of Chiranjeevi starrer Telugu film 'Stalin'. The film also features Daisy Shah, Tabu, Danny and Genelia D'Souza in important roles. 'Jai Ho', which deals with a common man's battle against corrupt activities, has been hitting the headlines as it puts across India's current political scenario. The film has been released in over 5,000 screens.

Since Salman Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' had collected Rs #32.92 crore and emerged as the highest first day grosser, 'Jai Ho' has failed to break film's opening record.

Will the film have a dream run at the box office? Will Salman's 'Jai Ho' smash all box office records?
