New Delhi: Sahil, the fourth person present at Rahul Mahajan's Safdarjung Road residence on Thursday night, is to surrender soon, says his lawyer Aslam Goni.
"As per the facts that he related to me, I am sure that he is innocent...and I have adviced him to surrender before law," he said.
The lawyer also said that Sahil will surrender before the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir by Saturday evening.
Earlier, a special team of Delhi Police had questioned Sahil's father Ghulam Mohammad.
Police sources say that Sahil is originally from Srinagar and used to dabble in Shahtoosh shawl trade as well. Police believe Sahil may have fled to Kashmir.
A Delhi police team is in Mumbai to raid Sahil's residence.
Two special teams have been dispatched to Srinagar to trace Sahil's whereabouts.
