BANGALORE: Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister S Suresh Kumar on Monday said that the State Government will be spending Rs 225 crore on the works that have been already allotted to improve the infrastructure in the courts in the state.
Speaking on the sidelines of a function organised to inaugurate a primary health centre, Suresh Kumar said, "The infrastructure in the courts in the state is inadequate because the consecutive governments have not released adequate funds to provide infrastructure. We are planning to spend at least `75 crore every year besides spending `225 crore for the ongoing works to increase the infrastructure in the courts. At present, our focus is on providing buildings to the courts that are functioning in rented buildings and on renovating the court buildings that are dilapidated."
