Rs 1.24 crore assistance for the disabled

PUDUCHERRY: Welfare minister P Rajavelu, on Monday, distributed financial assistance of  Rs 1.24 crore to 172 differently-abled persons for setting up various micro credit enterprises as sanctioned by National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation in Faridabad.Minister for local Administration, NG Pannir selvam, Minister for electricity  T Thiagarajan and TPR Selvam, MLA, participated in the distribution function .The distribution took place at Puducherry Corporation for the Development of Women and Differently Abled Persons.
