Robber held, 80-tola gold seized

HYDERABAD: Police arrested a robber, notorious for committing several theft offences, here on Wednesday. They have recovered 80 tolas of gold ornaments worth Rs 25 lakh, and Rs 3 lakh cash from his possession. Acting on a tip-off, the sleuths of Central Crime Station (CCS) raided the robber's house at Kushaiguda, and found the ornaments.The accused, Amit, has been involved in a various cases of chain-snatching across the city. In other incident, LB Nagar police arrested a car driver, who stole his employer's money,  and recovered a cash of `2.3 lakh from him.  Mithilesh Patel (19), a native of MP, stole the money from his employer, Hanuman Rama's house in LB Nagar.
