Reddy bail, custody pleas on September 29

HYDERABAD: The Special CBI court on Friday re-posted the hearing on CBI’s petition seeking custody of Obulapuram Mining Company managing director B V Srinivasa Reddy and Janardhana Reddy till September 29.After a six-day-long interrogation of the accused by the CBI that ended on September 19, the CBI’s counsel filed a petition in the Special CBI court seeking a further nine-day-long custody of the accused to further interrogate them in connection with alleged illegal mining.Hearing on the two petitions, a petition for bail for G Janaradhana Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy that was filed by Gali’s counsel and the CBI’s plea seeking custody of the accused for further interrogation would take place on September 29.
