HYDERABAD: Had former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi lived on for some more time India would have beaten China on all fronts and become a superpower, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said. He made the remark at a programme held at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday to observe the 21st death anniversary of the former AICC president. Union minister of overseas Indian affairs Vayalar Ravi, deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana, ministers J Geetha Reddy and D Nagendar, Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao, former minister M Satyanarayana Rao and several other senior Congress leaders participated in it. Kiran said Rajiv was a visionary.
