New Delhi: Senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan need not reveal the whistleblower's identity who gave the guest entry diary of Central Bureau of Investigation Director Ranjit Sinha's residence, according to a report submitted by 2G spectrum scam Special Public Prosecutor Anand Grover in the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

According to the report filed with the Supreme Court's registry by the bench of Justice HL Dattu, the court can recall its order directing Bhushan to disclose the whistleblower's name. Bhushan had used the entries in the diary alleged that Sinha met some suspects in the high-profile case.

Grover submitted a second report, too, in the mega scam which most probably pertains to whether there was any interference by Ranjit Sinha in the case.
