PM to widen process of talks with JKLF
The Centre says, it will hold talks with a cross-section of separatist leaders from the state as an effort to widen the process of dialogue in J&K.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh met Yaseen Malik chairman of the JKLF in the capital on Friday.

The JKLF chief is the second leader after Sajjad Lone of Peoples'

Conference, to be invited by the Prime Minister for talks on Kashmir.

Malik was accompanied by the General Secretary of JKLF Ghulam Rasool Dar.

The JKLF chief has been maintaining a low profile since infighting broke out in the Hurriyat Conference over its control.

He remained away from both Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Syed Ali Shah Geelani, the hardliners.

The Centre says, it will hold talks with a cross-section of separatist leaders from the state.

This is being seen as an effort to widen the process of dialogue in Jammu and Kashmir.
