The tri-series featuring India, Australia and Pakistan is likely to be held in India following PCB's decision not to host it.
Faisalabad: The proposed cricket tri-series featuring India, Australia and Pakistan is likely to be held in India following the decision of the Pakistan Cricket Board not to host any of these matches since these would be coinciding with the holy month of Ramzan.
"The tri-series will be held mainly during the month of Ramzan and we do not want to hurt anyone's religious sentiments by organising matches in the month of fasting," PCB Chairman Shaharyar Khan said on Saturday.
Instead, the PCB Chief said, Pakistan would prefer to travel to India and play the tri-series.
It will be followed by the Champions Trophy also to be hosted by India.
