ANGAMALY: The ongoing agitation of nurses at the LF Super Specialty Hospital here came to an end when the hospital management and the United Nurses Association representing the striking nurses sorted out the issues in a conciliatory meeting held here on Wednesday. The management reportedly agreed to allow four trainee nurses, who were asked to leave which led to the strike, to continue in service. But they would be transferred to the LF annexe in Koonammavu. The remaining issues will be sorted out later. The normal functioning of the hospital would resume on Thursday, said hospital director Fr Sebastian Vadakkumbadan.
