PUDUCHERRY: It’s official now. On Saturday, Tamil Nadu Education Minister C Ve Shanmugham confirmed that a probe panel had found prima facie evidence to prove that Puducherry education minister P M L Kalyanasundaram had used a proxy to write his SSLC supplementary science examination at a private school in Tindivanam on September 29. The panel had been set up by the education department after allegations had surfaced a few days ago.It was also revealed that handwriting experts, who had analysed the science paper’s answer sheet, found that the handwriting on it did not match the minister’s handwriting. Based on the probe, P Kuppusamy, chief educational officer, Villupuram district, has filed a police complaint against Kalyanasundaram, a schoolteacher Aaadhavan (who allegedly helped the minister with the impersonation) and an official of the education department, Rajnikanth.
