Ranchi: In a new twist to the mysterious death of Delhi journalist Nirupama Pathak, her brother has now moved two applications seeking to register a case against Nirupama's boyfriend pressing charges of rape, cheating, abetment to suicide and criminal intimidation.
Jharkand Police have seized her boyfriend Priyabanshu's mobile phone. They will examine messages exchanged between the couple shortly before Nirupama's death. Meanwhile Nirupama's suicide note has been sent for forensic examination to see if it was tampered with.
