Jaipur: National Investigation Agency (NIA) team is probing whether Pakistani born suspected American terrorist David Coleman Headley visited the holy town of Ajmer after 26/11 attacks last year.

"NIA investigators are probing whether the suspected American terrorist David had visited the holy town of Ajmer after the Mumbai terror attacks last year," Ajmer SP Hari Prasad Sharma told PTI.

However, Sharma did not divulge any further details about the team and details of their investigation.

According to sources, the NIA team in past two days searched a number of hotels in Pushkar, 15 kilometers from Ajmer, and took possession of guest records.

The team has reportedly got some important inputs and has identified hotels where Headley had stayed as tourist after the 26/11 terror attacks.
