NCP to give issue-based support to BJD

BHUBANESWAR: The National Congress Party (NCP) has decided to extend issue-based support to the BJD Government in the State on merit.A resolution to this effect was passed at the extended State executive body meeting of the party here on Tuesday in the presence of national general secretary DP Tripathy.Addressing a media conference here, State unit president Utkal Keshari Parida said that the decision of the party’s unit on December 29, 2010 on the issue of NCP’s support to the BJD was ratified.Parida demanded nationalisation of all the mines and mineral explorations in the State. Besides, he said the CBI probe into the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme should be extended to all districts in the State.
