Noted music composer Sirpy's mother Subbammal passed away on November 6. She was 69 and was suffereing from cancer.
"My mother encouraged me in each and every sphere of my life. Her death is a irreparable loss for me. I am in loss of words to express my grief," said Sirpy.
The last rites of Subbammal will be performed later on November 7 at her native place Kulippatti near Ottansathiram. Many industry people have condoled the death of Subbammal.
Sirpy is popular thanks to his work in films such as 'Ullathai Allitha', 'Mettukudi', 'Rasi' and 'Naattaamai'.
