Rawalpindi: Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf has formally been indicted for conspiracy to murder Benazir Bhutto over his failure to prevent her assassination. Seven others, too, have been indicted along with Musharraf for the murder of the former Pakistan prime minister.
In a brief hearing in Rawalpindi, three charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and facilitation of murder were read out to him. Musharraf has denied the charges.
The case has now been adjourned till August 27.
