It has been two weeks since the family members started their struggle to get the body of Rajnikanth Dalal, lying in a morgue in Riyad, back but till now all their efforts have been in vain.

"Now we are so frustrated that we just want to commit suicide. We just want to die," says Rekha Dalal, wife of the deceased.

It's been 40 days since Rekha's husband Rajnikanth, an auto electrician, died in Saudi Arabia due to cardiac arrest. The family has since been running from pillar to post to get his body back home which is lying unclaimed in a morgue in Saudi.

"We did not how to contact or whom to contact. The Riyadh embassy asked for power of attorney. We gave it so that we can get our dad's body. They were saying “kal ho jayega kal ho jayega" (It will be done tomorrow). Nothing happened. They have no value for our emotion," says Rajnikanth's daughter Khyati Dalal.

Despite Dalal's employment contract stating that his sponsor will bear expenses during the event of his death, the family had to arrange for Rs 2.2 lakh and send it to the sponsor. After several calls, last week, the Indian Embassy informed the family that they have sent the body.

"They said body has been sent by Gulf and asked us to go to airport. We arranged for all the materials required for final rites and called our relatives. When we went there, they told us no booking for dead body was made," claims Rekha.

The family has lost all the hope. When the family contacted the Indian Embassy three days ago, they casually asked them to do some paperwork again.
