Motorola launches 32GB Moto X (2nd generation) in India at Rs 32,999 onwards
The 32GB Moto X is priced at Rs 32,999 for the base variant and Rs 34,999 for the wood finish and the leather back panel versions.

New Delhi: Motorola has now launched the 32GB variant of its new Moto X (2nd generation) in India. The 32GB Moto X is priced at Rs 32,999 for the base variant and Rs 34,999 for the wood finish and the leather back panel versions. The new model is also exclusively available on Flipkart.

Until now, only the 16GB model was available in India. With the launch of the 32GB variant, Motorola has started to sell the 16GB model at special prices. The company is now selling the 16GB model at Rs 29,999 for the base variant and Rs 31,999 for the wood finish and the leather back panel variants. The former, however, was earlier available at Rs 31,999 and the latter models at Rs 33,999.

Motorola has also announced a Christmas offer on the Moto X (2nd Gen) in which the user can get up to Rs 6,000 off on an exchange of their old smartphone depending on the model.

The new Moto X comes running the latest version of Android Lollipop. The 2nd generation Moto X features a 5.2-inch 1080p display and a curved back encased in a metal frame. The specifications of the new Moto X include a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and water-resistant coating. Moto Voice in the Moto X accepts new voice commands and lets users control their favourite apps with voice commands.

The phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED ring flash and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and its 2400mAh battery is claimed to offer up to 24 hours of usage.

The Moto X smartphone was unveiled on September 5 alongside the new Moto G.
