Miraculous escape for school children

TRIPUNITHURA: The students had a miraculous escape when the school van in which they were travelling met with an accident at Vyttila Junction. The accident occurred at 8:45 a m when the private van carrying the children was on its way to the school. The van smashed head on head with a car and lost control. Fortunately, the driver’s presence of mind reduced the impact, as he  swerved the vehicle, the van hit a garbage truck parked on the roadside and stopped. Except for a minor shoulder injury of the driver, no one is injured.
