Meet on medical ethics

KOCHI: A two-day national workshop on ‘Redefining Medical Ethics’ will be organised by the state unit of the Indian Medical Association on July 30 and July 31. Health Minister Adoor Prakash will be the chief guest. The other speakers are P C Chacko MP, K Mohanadas, Vice-Chancellor of Medical University, Kerala), Dr Vasantha Muthuswamy, Dr M N Rema and Dr K Vijayakumar.The meeting will be presided over by IMA national president Dr Vinay Aggarwal and chairman and IMA national vice-president Dr M Bhaskaran. The topics that will be covered include organ transplantation with special reference to kidney transplantation.
