Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research had invited applications from candidates seeking admissions in agricultural universities in the State of Maharashtra for the academic year 2017-18.

The Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER), Pune is expected to release the MCAER Post Graduate (PG) Provisional Merit List 2017 on its official website maha-agriadmission.in on Tuesday. The Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research had invited applications from candidates seeking admissions in agricultural universities in the State of Maharashtra for the academic year 2017-18.

How to Check MCAER PG Provisional Merit List 2017?

Step 1: Visit the official website maha-agriadmission.in

Step 2: Click on the url ‘MCAER PG Provisional Merit List 2017’

Step 3: Download the PDF document of PG Merit List

Step 4: Search with your Roll Number or Full Name in the merit list by pressing CTRL+F

Step 5: Save this document for future reference

Candidates who do not find their name in the MCAER PG Merit List can raise grievances at the respective centre on or before 27 July, 2017. The Four Agricultural Universities that come under the purview of MCAER, Pune are:

1. Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri Dist.Ahmednagar [MPKV Rahuri]

2. Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola [Dr.PDKV Akola]

3. Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani [VNMKV Parbhani]

4. Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli Dist.Ratnagiri [Dr. BSKKV Dapoli]

As per a notification on the official website, the Final Merit List is expected to be released on 30th July 2017.

The MCAER PG Provisional Merit List 2017 is prepared based on the scores of two results viz the PGCET and Graduation Degree Scores. Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) had already conducted the PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) and released the results on 13th April 2017. 70% of marks obtained by the candidate in this particular test and 30% of the CGPA of the candidate in graduation are taken into account for the calculation of the merit and preparation of merit list accordingly.
