A Maoist leader wanted in several cases of murder was arrested on Monday from Gadopur in Arwal district. Acting on a tip off, police raided the village and arrested 'Sub-Zonal Commander' KB Lal alias Kaviji, Superintendent of Police Shafiul Haque said.
Lal was wanted in connection with one dozen murder cases and several incidents of violence in the district, he said.
