Left parties bandh on February 28

TIRUPATI: Supporting national trade unions’ call for a general strike on February 28, Left parties including CPI, CPM, New Democracy and others have decided to organise a bandh. Addressing a press conference, CPM central committee member, Gafoor, CPI leader, P Harnadha Reddy said left parties had called for bandh protesting government’s anti-people polices. Citing strikes by 104, 108, Asha workers, IKP employees and others, they said, no section was happy with the present government.
