New Delhi: We have already seen the upcoming iPhone 6 in a spate of leaked images, and now Sonny Dickson, the Australian teen who has built an online following by leaking pictures of upcoming Apple products, has tweeted two new pictures showing the front and back of what is claimed to be the next-gen iPhone, unofficially dubbed iPhone 6.
The recently leaked photos show the alleged iPhone 6 in two sizes. Speculations are already rife that Apple will launch the next-gen iPhone in two sizes - one with a 4.7-inch screen and the other with a 5.5-inch display.
If we believe a German phone firm Deutsche Telekom, your date with Apple's iPhone 6 is on Sep 19 this year. "The date is consistent with Apple's recent launches, making it likely an educated guess," a report on apfelpage.de website claimed.
Apple is expected to launch the 4.7-inch version first, with the 5.5-inch model to come later in the holiday quarter.
Increasing the iPhone's screen size from 4 inches would help Apple regain market share from competitors such as Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, according to industry watchers.
Larger iPhones, the subject of months of speculation, would mark yet another incremental tweak to the popular smartphone line and an attempt to catch up to rivals like Samsung Electronics Co Ltd.
