KSU district president Faizal Kulappadam, who has been suspended following a sex scandal, denied the allegations against him and said that he was acquainted with Iby Ibrahim through a Youth Congress worker and helped her in the cheating case. Faizal lodged a complaint against her after she allegedly blackmailed him and demanded Rs 10 lakh.
The probe into the sexual assault charges against Faizal is yet to begin. The ‘A’ group leaders of the KSU have come up with the allegations that ‘I’ group leaders of the KSU and Youth Congress are behind the sexual assault issue.
The ‘I’ group was taking revenge against Faizal for the shock defeat suffered by it in the KSU elections, they alleged. KSU leader Shine Koduvila has been appointed as the president in charge.
