KSRTC CMD quits

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Alexander K Luke, chairman and managing director  of  the KSRTC, has tendered his resignation  owing to reported differences with the office of   the transport minister  on  many issues. K G Mohanlal has been appointed as the new CMD.Alexander K Luke, a former IAS man, have initiated a slew of measures to infuse vigour and reap profits from a much maligned KSRTC.Apart from issues related to the salary package offered to him, he had been keeping away from important meets on policy matters of  the corporation for some time, as he was being allegedly sidelined .
