Kozhikode DCP found dead

KOZHIKODE: P K Anil, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kozhikode, was found dead at his quarters on Monday morning.He was 52. Police said the body was found in the bedroom by his gunman around 7 am.The body was handed over to relatives later in the evening after autopsy. According to the police, the post-mortem report said the death was due to heart attack. Sources close to him said Anil had suffered heart attack twice earlier.A former Railway Superintendent of Police and hailing from Kaduvakulam in Kottayam, Anil joined as DCP here around two months ago.He is survived by wife Ushakumari, son Ashique Anil and daughter Aashi.
