With an impressive growth at 35 per cent, public sector consultancy organisation KITCO has announced a dividend of 25 per cent.
Ramesh Dharmaji, chairman, announced the decision at the 40th shareholders’ annual general meeting here on Friday.
He said that the turnover of the company has crossed the `30 crore mark for the first time.
The figure registered previously was `23.39 crores. After the successful completion on the first phase of Vyttila Mobility Hub, KITCO is actively pursuing the speedy implementation of the second phase.
The company has maintained its fast pace in the aviation sector also. KITCO continues to be the consultant for implementing the expansion and diversification works at the Cochin International Airport.
The construction of the new international arrival block at the Kozhikode airport is also being carried out with KITCO as the consultants, Dharmaji said.
Spices Parks are being set up in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh for the Spices Board, the chairman added.
Another significant project the organisation has taken up is the turnaround study for the Kundara unit of the Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering Company Ltd (KEL).
As part of the Ruby Jubilee celebrations, KITCO has set up the Institute for Enterprise, a novel venture for training aspirants to launch their own enterprise.
