KIOCL signs MoU with KSIDC

BANGALORE: Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Ltd (KIOCL), a government of India enterprise under the Union Ministry of Steel, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC), a government of Kerala undertaking, for identifying various mineral related industrial opportunities especially in the steel industry.KIOCL Ltd Chairman and Managing Director K Ranganath and KSIDC Ltd Managing Director Alkesh Sharma signed and exchanged the memorandum of Understanding in the presence of Union Minister of Steel Beni Prasad Verma  and Chief Minister of Kerala Oommen Chandy in New Delhi.  The memorandum of understanding between the two companies involves some of the important aspects like the establishment of a mineral complex and a mega steel plant complex in the mineral-rich state of  Kerala.
