Mumbai: 'Saathiya' director Shaad Ali, is all set to return to direction after a gap of five years, with Yash Raj Films' 'Kill Dil'. The filmmaker's last outing was box office dud 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom' in 2007, which starred Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Lara Dutta and Bobby Deo.
His comeback film 'Kill Dil' is a breezy but not frivolous romantic film and will be Ali's fourth film with the studio.
The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and stars Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles.
'Kill Dil' will go on floor in October this year and is slated for a 2014 release.
