Kidnapped boy rescued

HYDERABAD: The 12-yearold boy, who was kidnapped on Friday at Vanasthalipuram was traced on Sunday. Police also arrested three persons who were involved in kidnapping the boy. A four-wheeler and four mobile phones were seized from them. The three accused were traced through their mobile phones and the police arrested them at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district on Sunday.Manikantha, a class XII student, came out of his house around 7.30 pm on Friday to watch a film. When he was walking on the street, three persons who came on a two-wheeler, kidnapped the boy. The boy's father Ramesh later received a phone call from some unidentified persons, stating that his son was kidnapped by them and demanded ransom. Ramesh lodged complaint with the police.
