Bengaluru: The ruling Congress in Karnataka is planning a unique protest on Friday, to expose the BJP's promise of bringing back black money back home.
The Congress workers plan to give out fake cheques to the amount of 15 lakh rupees to the public, just to remind them that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised to bring back all black money and had claimed this could well mean every citizen gets Rs.15 lakh rupees in his or her kitty.
Cheques are being made out to some of the top leaders of the BJP as well, to rub in the fact that poll promises remain broken. The back of these token cheques have Modi's statement before elections and Amit Shah's after election.
