Every August 15 is another holiday for quite a few of our countrymen.

There were days when this used to be another great day for us to remember those days of fight against the British.

I think even as I started growing I was beginning to toe a different line by the time I finished school, every Independence day was a mere formality.

Sixty years of bondage with self interested politicians who care for their own kith and kin and value of human life getting to an abysmal low has me thinking on what future will behold for the next generation.

But there are silver lining with the Judiciary and the media holding things for the common man.
