Kolkata: Buoyed by their gold medal win in the Archery World Cup Stage IV, Indian women's recurve team has climbed four places to be at number three position in FITA world rankings.

Delhi Commonwealth Games gold medallist and former world No 1, Deepika Kumari, who bagged two bronze and a gold in the Wroclaw event, jumped six places to be world no 13.

There was also some good news for the struggling Indian men's team ahead of the next month's Incheon Asian Games as they shot four places to be World No 4 after their silver medal win at the Stage IV season-concluding meet.

India bagged five medals in Wroclaw with the compound mixed pair of Abhishek Verma and Purvasha Shende winning a silver.
