The team of Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Vikram Bhatnagar and Ranjan Sodhi won the medal on Tuesday.
They shot 409 out of a maximum of 450. China won the gold setting an Asian record shooting 424 out of 450.
Athens Olympics silver medallist Rajyavardhan Rathod has also reached the finals of the individual double trap event shooting 50 out of 50 in the last qualifying round.
